SafeContractor Certification Awarded for 2021/2022
SafeContractor Accreditation
We are very happy to announce that we have once again achieved SafeContractor accreditation for the next 12 months seeing us through the rest of 2021 and into the middle of 2022.
Each year we are assessed on our health and safety policies, procedures, and documentation as well as the company’s ethical policies too. We aim to maintain a high standard across the board with continuous improvement and to achieve this accreditation once again is a credit to our project and management teams.
What is SafeContractor Accreditation?
SafeContractor proves to PHF Fire’s clients we have got the right credentials by pooling together all our health and safety and ethical policies in one place – for one SSiP certification.
With questions about accidents, risk assessments, method statements, our health and safety policy as well as training the SafeContractor assessment process ensures that PHF Fire is aware of its health and safety obligations and has an effective safety management system in place.
Each year the audit stage is very vigorous to ensure that we are meeting the high standards required to achieve full SafeContractor certification.
Why is SafeContractor Certification Important to PHF?
SafeContractor accreditation and certification is important to us as a business because:
SafeContractor accreditation gives piece of mind that we are a safe company to use.
It shows that PHF is committed to keep improving health and safety standards.
It shows that PHF is committed to sustainable and ethical practices.
It also highlights that we work compliantly in line with all current regulations.
Major organisations recognise the SafeContractor scheme and accept that the certificate as confirmation of competency in health and safety practice.
Without SSiP certification it would be impossible to work with a wide selection of main contractors on large fire alarm projects.
